Jaime Kessel

Jaime Kessel has held a variety of titles in her life time, but the most consistent has been that of "The Drum Lady". She began playing drums and percussion 15 years ago and began facilitating group workshops with her company, Motivation in Motion, 5 years ago. Jaime has taught countless groups the basic of African hand drumming ranging from National Sports Teams, HIV positive support groups, corporate kick offs, spiritual celebrations, to drug addiction recovery. She has even ventured into the world of importing and supports a local drum maker from Ghana.

Jaime's method is a combination of creating a community drum celebration that embraces all rhythms, drums, and walks of life, yet always includes the chance to experience a few traditional African or Caribbean grooves! Jaime's mission behind sharing drumming with so many is that she believes it is the easiest and fastest way for people to feel truly ALIVE and that the more people there are in the world living their ALIVENESS - the better the world is going to be!
