Purpose & Mission

Our Mission is to provide:
- Social Interaction: opportunities to make new friends and co-create a feeling of connection via regular meetings and various social events.
- Community Service: proactive and takes a leadership role in serving our spiritual community and the community at large.
- Spirituality: all meetings and gatherings open and conclude with affirmative prayer – we acknowledge and celebrate our unity and diversity by honoring our individuality – we emphasize love, joy, peace, beauty, kindness, light, health and abundance as we strive together for the highest good.

About Us

We are a dynamic group of men of all ages, races, sexual orientations and religious and social backgrounds who embody the ideals and principles of Science of Mind. With the Centre for Spiritual Living, Edmonton, we provide spiritual tools to transform our personal lives and help make the world a better place! We offer the men of Edmonton an opportunity to meet and interact in true fellowship and Spiritual community. Our mission statement defines our purpose and reminds us of our commitments to social interaction, spirituality, education, and community service. We hope to enrich the lives of our members by awakening and reminding them of their spiritual magnificence!

Meeting Format
- Entry: Please enter in quiet. On entry you will pick a color/number for later small group time.
- Opening: 10 minutes of silence/meditation followed by an opening treatment.
- Quickie check-in: Identify yourself, and in about 30 seconds to a minute share something powerful and positive that has been happening for you. (Our practice of Affirmative Prayer emphasizes identifying what you want in your life, as opposed to dwelling on the negative, which is a rehearsal or attractor for more negative. Of course if something is burning for you, know this is a safe place for you. Here is an opportunity to have your brothers treating for you).
- Topic/Presentation: The moderator for the meeting makes his reading or presentation. (about 10 minutes)
- Sharing Groups: We break up into smaller groups of 4-6 men to share and discuss on the topic of the meeting.
- Large Group Share: A member of each sharing group brings to the larger group a recap of what occurred in their group.
- Closing: We select a moderator for the next meeting. Any business like selecting the next meeting time or setting any dates for activities or service work. Closing treatment. (total time 1 hour 30 minutes)
- Fellowship: Men are welcome to stay and share following the meeting.
